WMB harvests “listening” souls in Thailand…

A World Mission Broadcast (WMB) program called Friend-to-Friend is drawing individuals to Christ in the Buddhist nation of Thailand. Field Communications Coordinator Lisa Lehman reports that “God is doing much” in a country where Christianity is a minority.

Lehman, together with Thai radio producer Pachara Saengwichai, visited the Northern city of Lampang recently to hear the testimonies of listeners who have been reached by the WMB radio program. “It was such an exciting day as from morning to evening we were witness to listeners accepting Christ that very day as we shared together. Pastor Suphot and church members have been praying for these listeners for several weeks.” While on their visit, they learned that a Buddhist disc jockey at the station accepted Jesus during a live program when a group from the Philippines preached with an interpreter. Lehman is delighted with how God is using the WMB program Friend-to-Friend to open the door of hope for youth and families in Northern Thailand.
